Regular Maintenance
- When the stump grinder is in use, regularly apply grease to the bearing via the grease nipple on... this will prevent dirt and moisture from damaging the bearing.
- Check that the cutting wheel mounting screws are tight and undamaged. Replace any damaged or missing screws immediately.
- Check the teeth on your cutting wheel. Have any missing teeth replaced as gaps in the teeth will make the remaining teeth more vulnerable to being knocked off.
Servicing
Apart from regular maintenance, Echidna stump grinders should not need to be serviced.
