Regular Maintenance
- When the saw is in use, regularly apply grease to the bearing via the grease nipple on... this will prevent dirt and moisture from damaging the bearing.
- Check that the blade mounting screws are tight and undamaged. Replace any damaged or missing screws immediately.
- Check the teeth on your rocksaw blade. Have any missing teeth replaced as gaps in the teeth will make the remaining teeth more vulnerable to being knocked off.
Servicing
Apart from regular maintenance, Echidna rocksaws should not need to be serviced.
When you have become familiar with your rock saw, it may be possible to improve it's performance by making some adjustments to the hydraulic circuit. Ask for more information.
